Jubilee/Dalva LOVES FLYBALL!
I’m not surprised Jubilee/Dalva loves FLY BALL, he mother (Nicole) RULES the ball at our house!! She looks like she can’t wait to get at it!! And what a pretty girl, she is smiling!! So fun to see my happy babies. Another uneventful day, which I’m glad about. Dottie (Dalva’s baby sister) continues to terrorize all the adult dogs and they take it in stride correcting her only when she has gone way too far. I can’t blame them, those tiny teeth ARE SHARP! She loves Poppy, Parris and Jazz (they tolerate THE MOST abuse) and she snuggles next to Ruben and Francis. She fits in perfectly!

Good buddies!!

23 degree's but still FUN!
Another fun day! We can’t stay real long, their feet get cold (and I can’t do 40 boots). They raise their paws to show me, so we head back. Parris got to go in the first batch so when we went home and got the last five, she stayed home with Tom’s (son not husband) girlfriend Mindy. Poor Mindy had to listen to the unconsolable Parris howl, cry and whine the entire time we were gone

LOL Poor Parris. Poor Mindy! Dottie is so funny at the park, she keeps up with the big dogs but what’s amazing is REBA!! Even with her brace she runs and enjoys herself!! WE LOVE THE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOK AT REBA GO!!

Tired out from the pet park!
What fun we had at the park today!! Dottie was exhausted trying to keep up with the adults and snuggled into Harlee on the way home. They are BFF’s! Harlee is wearing the poodle hat Beau and Hope sent her!! Park was cold but they all enjoyed a good run!! I was doing some research on shots this morning and was SHOCKED to learn that not only were yearly shots not necessary (I knew that and stopped getting them almost 3 years ago for the older dogs) but dangerous!! There are many serious side effects that can happen weeks later:
Fibrosarcomas (cancer) at the injection site
Seizures and Epilepsy
Allergies
Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA)
Autoimmune diseases, including organ disease, allergies and skin problems
Chronic digestive problems
Muscle weakness, especially lack of hind end coordination
Chronic digestive disorders
Skin diseases
Disease the vaccine was made to prevent
Myocarditis
Post Vaccinal Encephalitis or polyneuritis
Behavior problems: aggression, destructive behaviors, separation anxiety and odd obsessive behaviors (like tail chasing and paw licking)
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO RESEARCH, I have read too many similar opinions like this one to ignore the danger!

Dottie and grandma Jazz
I think this photo is adorable! Dottie was outside with grandma Jazz who zips around like a silly wet dog when she’s happy. After a couple tramplings Dottie promptly retreated to the side of the house where it was safe. HA HA her face says it all, as does Jazz who is wondering why she’s over there.
It is so icy and windy today, I had planned to play at the pet park but Tom said the truck would get stuck. We did play in the yard but not the same since we’ve had wide open spaces of the pet park! Hope we can go tomorrow!! All’s well. Parris is good as new. Patti Sue has a nice babies bump with 16 days until we get to meet the new babies! Life is good!

Blustery day!

I'm very ladylike. Wilma/Stella
Who doesn’t like DAIRY QUEEN

Stella’s mom said she is so ladylike eating her cone. Kids will stop and ask if they can hold it for her. ADORABLE!! Jessica/Sadie is 44lbs and so beautiful! I love seeing my babies in their new lives

They are so loved and so pampered! More of these babies later this year!! Patti Sue is doing great, I can’t wait to see who she has in there!! I really want a silver girl, but she hasn’t had any light silvers in the last couple litters (blue and black) Color doesn’t matter really (I don’t have silver is why I want one), it’s the personality I want. The Patti and Ruben babies are silly and so sweet (and BIG)!! Patti will LOVE having one of her babies stay here!! I hope we have enough babies to go around (especially boys), I have LOTS of deposits!!

What are you waiting for? Let us in.
Winter is here. Everybody has their sweaters on, they love them. Getting sweaters/coats is quiet a challenge. Sizes vary no matter how they describe them. I ordered two XL coats from ebay and they would not have fit a beagle!! I HATE TO RETURN stuff so I wasn’t happy!! I have enough different body sizes that generally what I get will fit somebody! Making them seems to work best. Parris is doing great, her usual spunky little self

Diet solved our problem. I am increasing raw and reducing kibble. I actually sat down and figured out what I pay for both and it is very close to the same price. Raw maybe $15 more a week with yogurt, cottage cheese, veggies and eggs. Well worth it to know what they are eating. It’s easy! AND SO GOOD FOR THEM!

Kalvin, Rigby, Phoebe, Zuki, Spot and Louie and Lola
I love Facebook because my puppy families can find each other and have play dates!! The dogs really enjoy it and seem to know each other! I love seeing the pictures, everybody looks like they have such a good time. After the play date Marjorie gave face grooming lessons
Finally a babies bump which I’m always excited about. Patti Sue has really popped out today! The mom’s really love the special attention they get when babies are due, extra special pampering

THEY DESERVE IT!!
Trisha is getting Citori fixed next Wednesday, always a sad day to retire our wonderful moms. Especially the moms that LOVE having babies :’( Boo Hoo she will enjoying being grandma.

Milton/Cash 3 years old
THREE ALREADY!! THE COMEDIAN babies from Patti Sue and Ruben! Happy birthday to Milton/Cash, Harvey/Boone, Eddie/Saint, Rodney/Riley,Steve/Gunner, Benny, Roseanne/Emma, Jane/Penelope, Tina/Princess, Gilda/Stella, Molly/Zara, Wanda/Star (below). All wonderful happy loved babies!! Finally I see a baby bump, I fear she does not have her usual 10 babies but we’ll see. I sure don’t want and disappointed people but it’s out of my hands

Might be having some people moving to the Francis Claire litter (also big wonderful babies!!)
Polka/Splash is retrieving DUCKS! The movie is SO cute (on my FB page) it’s heavy so she does her best to drag it back to her daddy! She is so excited and eager to please! She will catch on and give other breeds a RUN for their money! I can’t wait to see her training progress!!

Patch, Dottie and Priscilla
Patch and Priscilla came to the pet park to play. The babies needed a good romp! It is so fun to see them interact. Priscilla was making sure Dottie didn’t hurt her boy. It was very cute. All the adults got to go. Running through the deep snow wears them out!! I look forward to the day we can all go at once rather than in two or three trips

Nothing else new (which I am always happy about).

Fun in the snow
Beautiful SUNNY day but 18 degrees. Cold or not they love the park. Parris and Nicole cry the entire 5 mile drive to the park. As soon as I put my park coat and hat on the whining begins

Doesn’t take long, they KNOW where we’re going. So funny. I love seeing them enjoy what we’re doing (which is why I bought the park). Dottie likes it too and does her best to keep up! Such an ADORABLE girl! It has been such a treat to get to keep one of my precious babies!! Patti Sue should have a babies bump any day. I’m always nervous but shouldn’t be, there is NO reason to believe we wouldn’t get puppies. She’s a big girl with lots of room to hide those kids. She sure eats like she’s feeding a crowd!

Patti Sue happy at the PET PARK!

Remind me not to make REBA MAD!
Dottie has lots of playmates, nobody who really WANTS to play with her but do. She was full of the dickens last night zipping around and squeaking her new squirrels non stop. It’s a great toy I got off Amazon and since it arrived somebody has been playing with it. It’s a plush tree trunk with 3 baby squirrels in it. She loves getting them out of there. Poppy tosses them too her, they are good buddies
Look here at squirrel toy Parris continues to get better, back to her old self. She and Dottie get special meals in the morning and at night. I am SO HAPPY I caught that early!! Yikes, could have lost my Parris! BOO HOO Twin boys are getting cold so we’re not babysitting today. We are disappointed but don’t want to get sick

Reba is so funny, her expressions say it all! I just love poodle looks!!

Where am "I" going to lay???

Jack/Luke just turned 3 on Halloween
Luke sure reminds me of his mother Jazz (from the Halloween litter), Uncle Jack and Aunt Citori. All love being kid pillows. I dare say there is NOTHING a kid could do that would upset them. No wonder PARENTS MAGAZINE rates Standard Poodles number ONE for kids!! Great protectors too! NO ONE they don’t know can approach their kids

Parris is improving already, the sparkle is back in her eyes, spring in her step. She is getting the THISTLE, Sam e and twice a day a combination of the following food (NO KIBBLE): pasta or rice, low fat cottage cheese, eggs, low fat yogurt, carrots, peas, RAW ground turkey, venison, liver, gizzards, hearts, chicken legs skin removed. She gets bread at lunch. Dottie gets the same food with 3/4 cup of puppy kibble. The other adults get kibble with a combination of the same.
Exciting day tomorrow!! Harlee and I are babysitting the twins (14 months)and Andria and Mindy are babysitting Dottie (12 weeks). FUN FOR ALL!

Sonny/CASH Lexie and Jack's baby boy!
OMG what a FABULOUS BOY!! Lexie and Jack’s son Sonny/Cash!! More of these beautiful babies later this year!! Such unique colors from those two!!
I took Parris to the vet yesterday, she just wasn’t herself. We have had sporadic incidents of peeing in my bedroom during the night, occasional vomiting and diarrhea. Nothing you would race a dog to the vet for (which is the problem) when spread out over a month. What got me thinking was how she wasn’t excited about anything. Parris has an Addison’s baby so I started thinking of those symptoms combined with her age. Addison’s is generally brought on my stress, but we haven’t had any. The addition of Dottie is the only alteration to our routine but she loves babies, so although I was concerned about Addison’s I wanted to rule it out so I could quit worrying. I went for an electrolytes test (measures salt to potassium) but since that test will only indicate one type of Addisons I decided to have a full blood panel done. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! The test showed she has mild pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreatis)!! The levels were slightly out of the normal range, but enough so she didn’t feel good!!! Thankfully I can fix this by taking all fat out of her diet!! The vet didn’t know I fed partial raw and began to explain how much FAT is in kibble!! When I told him they get raw meat (mostly chicken leg and thigh quarters and organ meat) eggs, veggies, yogurt, etc. He seemed surprised and asked me the usual questions like risk of eating bones etc. I told him I’ve really read a lot about this and really wanted to reduced the amount of processed food they ate, feeding them the healthy things we eat would do that. They love it and have been doing well for the 9 months we have been eating raw (much smaller poop). He told me he’d be worried about them getting salmonella. I told him I’m more worried about ME getting salmonella (he nodded)!! I told him the meat is thawed and immediately cut up and refrigerated (10 lbs last 3 days) I bleach cutting board, knives, sinks, counter and bowls I used. I am very careful knowing the danger. He suggested I remove all fat from the older dogs meat. And for Parris increase carbs and give her THISTLE (at walmart for improved liver function) and SAM E for increased pancreatic function (both over counter) NO FAT. We’ll go back in a month to retest. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and be familiar with some of these illnesses, be educated on what to look for and get it checked out early and consider a RAW DIET. This is where I stated to learn about RAW
CLICK HERE My Parris will be fine

and NOW I can prevent my other older dogs from getting it!!

Always close to a girl
No school so the girls came to stay with me. They went ice fishing with grandpa and Andria got a big PIKE on a little ice fishing pole! As always Dottie stays close to Harlee and enjoyed hours of lovin from Andria. This Saturday Harlee and I are going to babysit the twins so Trisha and Ted can spend some time together. Andria is going to babysit Dottie so she doesn’t spend the day alone. It’s good for her to be exposed to different situations and people. Makes her a much more confident adult
Poppy is ending her heat so we will be going back to the park (which hasn’t been plowed and Tom says I’ll get stuck) :0

Andria's big catch!

She is touching my Hippo
Ruben’s expressions are SO FUNNY! His face says it ALL! SHE IS TOUCHING MY HIPPO!! She knows he won’t hurt her but he does ROAR at her if she goes too far (she doesn’t seem to notice). Dottie likes to lay close to him, which he tolerates because he knows he HAS to. I was surprised when Francis Claire was playing with her, gently biting her head and feet. Francis avoids puppies for the most part so this is a pleasant development!
Patti Sue should have a babies bump here in the next week, she is due February 15. I have several deposits and have placed my order for lots of boys! and a silver girl for me! It will be fun to have Poppy and Dottie helping with the pups this time

Patti Sue won’t think so though.

Albus/Zuki Ruben's brother
I love seeing my babies! Zuki was Albus from Maggie & Beemer’s Harry Potter litter. Our Ruben was Errol from the same litter. They look very different! Zuki has Maggie’s face! and Ruben has Beemer’s wider face. Ruben actually acts EXACTLY like Beemer did. Such a goof, he is so funny. In fact FRANCIS Claire acts like Ruben, just a little smaller version. She even takes treats like he does (slimes your entire hand) I’m always amused at the things they pass down, little things that you would think are uniquely their’s but are not. Not sure is Patti has babies but have no reason to think otherwise. Poppy is about over her heat and can rejoin us and go back to the park. YEAH!! I hate having them separated!

necessary however.

Meeting my cousin Rigby
Pickles/Dottie and I headed out early for a quick trip to CANTON (we love IKEA) and a visit with Annie/Rigby (Dottie’s cousin) Kalvin and their mom Marjorie. Marjorie’s son Cam babysat Dottie so we could shop. At first Dottie was a little nervous meeting Rigby and Kalvin (understandable) but fine when protected by Marjorie

In the house she was FEARLESS chasing and barking at everybody. The car ride was LONG and she was pretty bored by the end of it. Big day for her but she did GREAT! VERY good for her to go new places and meet new dogs and people! The more you do when they’re little the better they’ll do when they’re BIG!!

I'm trying to keep this safe!
Ruben is just endless laughs, his eyes just crack me up. He does not want Dottie to have his hippo (Harlee says it’s a moose-penguin mix) so he takes it with him. He sleeps with is head on it, it’s always close by. Bill came over this afternoon and being busy with his knuckle bone he was torn between greeting Bill and risking losing his bone. His solution, bring it with him. Dog is so funny. His babies have his same delightful personality!
Dottie and I going shopping in Detroit tomorrow (she’ll have a baby sitter). IKEA is so fun!!

hello Bill

Outside with Harlee
Harlee didn’t have school today so she spent the day with me, well I should say Pickles. They were either outside or cuddling in Harlee’s play room. Poppy was a little jealous but did okay. She wasn’t sure about the snow, where she usually is happy to go outside, today we had to capture her, understandable this is really the first snow she’s seen. Everybody else is doing great!

Hugs from Harlee

Jasmine: Really I have to share your LAP with HIM!

CLICK HEREPoppy and Reggie’s big boy Ronald/Liev Stotland has a page too!!
Click here VERY FUN!! Pickles/Dottie got 4 new toys yesterday and was prancing around showing the adults. She is a joy, such a good girl, really reminds me of her dad ELLIOT!!! Her face is really turning silver!! Whatever she is, it isn’t black! Can’t wait to see her colors emerge!! Snow today, she’ll like that!!

Jake/Fenway
Isn’t he ADORABLE!!! I can’t wait to see what color he ends up to be!!! I think ALL my babies are fabulous but these Nicole & Elliot babies are AMAZING!! Dottie is SO GOOD! She already knows our routine and whatever we do is okay with her. SHE loves the other dogs and snuggles next to them. They are so good as she runs full speed over their backs while they sleep. Ruben ROARS at her but she isn’t put off a bit. She’s the PERFECT addition to the poodle household! TOM IS AWARE OF TWO THINGS (being married 40 years he knows what is NOT up for discussion) ONE that I will be keeping a Patti Sue & Ruben baby in one of the next two litters AND TWO that if for any reason Elliot needs a home he’s staying here, I won’t ask him to adjust to another home, ever. His poodle limit be damned!
He did buy my pet park FENCE POSTS yesterday!! NOW I need him to go buy the post hole digger that goes on his tractor (he’s waiting for a sale at TSC). IF I can get him to buy that he won’t be able to resist trying it out and then once started, he’ll finish if the weather stays decent!! We are fencing 2 acres!! What a great poodle play ground!! It could have been done by now had we known what a mild winter this would be!! Got my new SIGN!!

YEAH!!!

Beau's first day of SAR (search and rescue) training
Beau loved his first Search and Rescue training. He was so proud of himself, all puffed up because he had done everything Hope asked of him. SAR training builds confidence and a strong bond between dog and trainer. Beau is really too old (five) to start serious SAR training, but it’s still good for him. He’s a very happy boy!! AND SO IS ELLIOT!! He is having so much fun with his new family. He LOVES Jasmine and never has his eyes off her! Poor Jan is sick, and I know how hard it is to have worried poodles hovering over you. Everybody trying to get as close as they can so you FEEL BETTER! I AM SO HAPPY FOR BOTH OF MY BOYS!

Puppy REUNION at the pet park!
It was very fun to see the puppies together. Patch was so happy to see his litter mates and Otto who just left us yesterday RAN for the protection of his new boys if the play got too rough. Just ADORABLE!! Dottie was exhausted when we got home, she slept the rest of the day

She is doing so well! She slept until 5am this morning, and went outside with her mom and slept until 7am! She has not pottied in the house at all! She loves the big dogs and they tolerate her wallering on them. She is the perfect addition to our family, perfect personality for our home.
Elliot is doing great, seems to love playing with the other 4 dogs, and likes Jan and Sally. I feel so bad for the kids trying to adjust without their Elliot. Hopefully after he is settled, they can visit him.

Elliot's brother PALMER!
I LOVE SPECKLES and Palmer has zillions! What a beauty he is!!! He really didn’t care one way or the other about the pups, was more worried about Nicole! He did like seeing his mom Jazz I think.
Last night was Dottie/Pickles first night with no siblings. I had her in a small crate on my bed (up by my head so she could hear me breath) she yipped briefly, but settled down when the lights went out. She slept until 2:30, I put her and mom Nicole out then back to bed until 5:30. She’s a perfect girl. She does need puppy play I think so Patch is going to meet us at the pet park today at 2pm. We’re hoping that Otto can meet us there too! I love that we have babies so close by!! AND that we have a place to meet!! I’m REALLY WHINING about my fence, had we known the winter would be so mild it could have been DONE by now. Who would GUESS we would have had several FIFTY DEGREE days in January!!! We’re the NEW FLORIDA!!!

Spot, Lisa ans Shawn.
A change of plans for Elliot that I think is much better for him. Sally and Jan who have 4 of our poodles asked if Elliot could join their family. They have a FABULOUS poodle haven with several fenced acres including a LAKE! Unless the boys don’t get along (and I can’t imagine) he has his forever home in Mio Michigan! I had such mixed feelings about Elliot coming back here, I wasn’t sure I could part with him a second time. I should not have picked the puppy that liked me best :’( very hard on both of us. I think it’s made coming and going harder for him. So far he is enjoying running free and playing with new friends

Poor Sheila she is beyond sad, I’m sad for them I know how much they enjoyed having him. Otto, Spot and Cinder went to new families today too! Spot and Cinder were second poodles (two poodles are twice the fun) I know we’ll get PUPDATES YEAH!! Otto got two little boys that have wanted a dog for a LONG time! They promised me they would take GOOD care of my baby. Otto was a perfect choice for them, very laid back like dad Elliot!! They are 15 miles away!! I look forward to playdates at the pet park with Patch and Dottie/Pickles!!!!

I like water!
This is one of my ALL TIME favorite photo’s. Taken shortly after Stella/Nina went to her new home. Clearly she was not welcome joining her girl for a bath haha!!I got the most wonderful note from Monique. Warms my heart that my babies are so very loved. I can look my mother dogs in the eyes and say I found your baby a wonderful home. Treated like a valuable family member, their entire life. At least 2 babies going home tomorrow. Spot for sure. We’ll see who likes Uncle Palmer best. Baths in the morning and fun upstairs terrorizing the adults!! What fun!
Hi Barb,
I am mailing you Stella’s receipt and a vaccination record that show that she is spayed so you can mail me her AKC registration. I didn’t do this sooner because there didn’t seem to be any need to have papers. But now I’m learning that if I compete with her, I should probably have her registered with the AKC.
Stella has proved to be the best dog of my life. She is wonderful! She is so sweet, so calm, so fun, so good. She doesn’t bang all over the back door when she wants in. She just wimpers a little. She loves learning new tricks and pleasing me with her obedience. I had no idea such a thing were true! Seeing is believing. You told me she would want to please me and she does. She snuggles into me with her nose between my thighs. So sweet. She is a great car companion, as you said. I try to take her with me on most of my errands. She is no longer crated, yet still stays off the furniture and doesn’t get into anything. I enjoy showing off how good she is to company. She’s excited to see people but will sit to wait for them to pet her. Most people are wowed by how calm she is. She doesn’t pace around and insist on going in and out all day. She actually likes staying outside for long periods of time by herself.
I’ve enjoyed taking her through dog training. Our most recent accomplishment is getting her Canine Good Citizen certificate. I jumped up and down when we passed and clapped. The instructors and tester were confused, “You didn’t think she would pass? Pfawww!” She was so good in that class. I could tell her to sit and stay and come, all with sign language. When we started the class she was more rambunctious and I was a ball of nerves wanting to get it right. The co-teacher pulled me aside after the first class and had a stern talk with me, “Now, you know you have a poodle. Poodles are smart. Right now she is outsmarting you. You need to outsmart her and you will be surprised at what a good, good dog you will have. I want you to work on your manner around her. Exude confidence. Hold yourself tall. Breathe steadily. Pull your shoulders out of your ears. Talk to her like you know what you’re doing and make demands, not suggestions. And before you come here next week, before you even enter this door, you are to take five deep breaths leaving all your troubles of your life behind you. Determine you are here because you love your dog and this is FUN.” She didn’t tell anyone else in the class any of this stuff, but it sure did work for Stella and me. I did exactly as she said and my dog and I are better becuase of it. That stern talking to applied to many areas of my life. I didn’t know I was so transparent. So I thank Stella!!!
We sailed through the class with ease. It did become fun because Stella is so smart, so sweet, and just so good. The instructors are encouraging me to keep on going with her. So my next class leads into Rally and Obedience competition. I’d like to compete in Obedience. I have a lot to learn still. But it sure is fun. I had no idea how good this would be for me, besides having a well behaved dog. I think Stella knows what she’s done for me. She’s my partner. She spends her days with me while I work mostly from home, we go on walks together, we go on errands together, we have good snuggles, and we have fun with our obedience practice too. The kids love her too. They enjoy playing hide and seek with her. My husband loves her too. He gets a kick out of how good she is and he likes to brag about it.
Thank you for all the close attention to good breeding. What an art. And what a great thing to offer someone; a dog with such a nice demeanor. I’m hooked!
A bit of good news. Within walking distance a new groomer that is like the Great Clips for dogs just opened up. The haircuts are only $25 any breed. Today Stella got a Miami cut, big ankle socks and a tail poof. I think the groomer is new. She said it took all day to set the style, but she enjoyed the challenge. Stella is gorgeous! All ready for school Monday.
Thank you again for providing me with such a great dog. I love her! Monique Burns

Cinder and Polka
Little stinkers! They squeezed through the spindles and made their way upstairs. They were SO pleased with themselves!! Downstairs was PICKLES sounding the escape alarm with her frantic WAIT FOR ME YIPS (actually it sounded like murder)! They were so cute looking around. Nicole (mom) was so funny, her shouldn’t they be downstairs look was unmistakeable!! Polka/Splash goes to Texas this afternoon, although flying the babies makes me nervous the flights to Dallas are direct flights about 3 hours. Everything should be fine. Her new mom is so excited to get her!! She will LOVE having other dogs to terrorize!

Shouldn't they be downstairs??

Spot, Otto and Pickles!!
These babies get cuter by the minute!! They are very sweet too, they never went through the wild baby stage at 7 weeks, and thankfully they never shredded all the newspapers either. They love to snuggle and cry for me to pick them up, so adorable!!
Elliot will be back Friday. The new baby 1 year old is allergic to dog dander, saliva (he doesn’t lick) and urine (he doesn’t pee in the house) but the doctor said it is still in the air. DOG was the only thing that showed up on his allergy test. Elliot could stay but he would have to be an outside dog (we can’t have that). The little girls are devastated :’( I’m anxious to see him, but feel bad he’ll have another home at some point. He is such a good boy! Poppy will love a play mate!! Let me know if you are interested in SHARING Elliot (couple hours away at most).

Citori and Beau's babies!
It makes me so sad that there will be no more Citori & Beau babies. Those two made the most fabulous babies!! BUT we have Lexie and Izzie so our fabulous babies will continue!! Very cold so the babies don’t stay out long but they do go out to play with Poppy. She brings them toys and they LOVE to see her.

So proud we made it to the top of the stairs!
Pickles and Polka (filthy after playing outside) zipped upstairs the first chance they got. I think they have been watching me and mom disappear upstairs for weeks and were anxious to see what was up here. So darn cute!! They didn’t hesitate to come back down either, which is usually the scary hard part for a baby! The boys on the other hand stayed safely on the floor whimpering and watching, they are so darn sweet!!! Polka can’t go to Texas today, too windy

not something you want to risk but now we need to wait until Thursday. Okay with me, two more days with my baby!!!:)

Down is much harder!!

Harlee and Cinder!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Wow where does the time go?? Seems to go faster every year!! My darn vacation is almost over and I was sick most of it (grrrr). We went to the pet park today even though it was raining. Poppy needed a good run, she LOVES that park!! We got back before this nasty weather blew it. IT IS WINDY!! I blocked the puppy door as the 40 mph winds have it blowing wide open. Kind of hard to heat the outdoors!! I hope polka can fly tomorrow, it’s pretty icy right now but a lot can change by tomorrow afternoon. She’s ready to go, very good in her crate. The girls learned the stairs today! BOTH UP AND DOWN which is VERY unusual!! The sweet boys stayed put and quietly cried

they are SOOO ADORABLE!!! Just perfect little guys!!

1 year old!
Got this adorable picture of Doris/Shelby and a pupdate!! I am so excited about Patti Sue’s new babies (Feb 15)!! I rubbed her belly and submitted my request (LOTS OF BOYS!) Here’s what Annette said about her girl!
Hello, sorry I haven’t got a hold of you sooner holidays are nuts !! Shelby is doing GREAT, we love her and she has been a great addition to our family as the attached photos show the kids and her play together all the time. I’m not sure how to upload photos to you on facebook but hope this will help. It is so cute, Shelby has our old dog Harley playing like a puppy !! Our other REALY old dog Honda (who has always kept to herself) wants nothing to do with her but tolerates her. She goes everywhere with my handicapped husband (she is well known at Lowes) and is learning to help him. She thinks the front passenger seat in his van is HERS !! Everyone laughs at all the drive throughs because she sits taller than he does ! She got spayed in June at Maple River Animal Clinic and she weighed 65 lbs a month ago (i am sure more now !!) and is very healty. She loves her knuckle bones or tire bones, and we have figured out that there is NO stuffed toy on the market that will stand up !
to this part shark puppy !! In the pic. of her on the couch the dough-nut she has is made with Kevlar and she chewed through it in 2 days !! For her B-Day she was given a knuckle bone with peanut butter rubed on while we say the B-Day song to her. LOL you should be able to return the pieces of INDESTRUCTIBLE TOYS and beds!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
