Happy 1st birthday to Citori and Beau’s third litter!! Rhea/Paris, Athena/Tala, Gaia, Apollo/Eiffel, Zeus/Moses, Hermes/Phoenix and Ares/Lukas!! This is Athena/Tala and she is so beautiful!! We had a photo of her with Hermes/Phoenix a few days ago. Hope we get some more updates!! So fun to see them grown up!
Harlee was here doing her puppy socializing work. We ran to the store for a few things and I got her the umbrella she had told me she needed last week (payment for her puppy work). We were outside loving up the puppies when it started to POUR!! She raced to get her umbrella to try it out! I don’t think she planned on it raining this hard, so funny! Babies got haircuts and LOOK SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday to Trenton/Elvis and Madison three years old today!! I hope we get pupdates from littermates Juneau/Lexxie, Olympia/Misty, Raleigh/Marco, Montgomery/Monty and Lincoln!
Also in the photo is Archie/Sparky who had his birthday a couple of weeks ago (Reba/Reggie). The new babies are using the dog door ALREADY!! It’s propped open but they wake up and go out!! To keep them out I shut the flap and that little smartie Barbie comes BACK IN!! Wow not even 4 weeks old!! It’s so cute to see them play with toys!! JUST ADORABLE!!

Bo Peep trying out her new teeth, so cute! They are much more comfortable outside and are starting to explore the wide open spaces. Such little cuties. Francis Claire really doesn’t want to feed them, she only asks to see them so she can clean out their dish. They are doing VERY well on Blue Buffalo puppy, fat happy babies just like we like it!

Another pretty girl! Patti Sue and Ruben’s baby girl Samantha!! Such a pretty face!! Another nice day, not quite as hot as it’s been. Babies are feeling more comfortable outside. I have the doggy door propped open and put them out immediately when they wake up. Patty Sue goes out with them and licks them sparkling clean Mom goes out too but doesn’t want them to nurse, they are getting tall enough to help themselves and she doesn’t like that

What a pretty girl! Sweet Charlotte/Ella!! Such a cutie!! I love first groomings, they seem to know they look pretty! Even the boys like it!!
All’s well here. I’m enjoying the new babies and adjusting to no Matisse/Tagan and Elliot (who keeps looking for me to return through the door I slipped out when I left him with Terry Wwwwhhhaaaaa).

Want to play? This is so funny, he’s seems very proud of his stick. Opie is a Reba & Reggie baby that just turned three. Such a good boy, his family adores him!
Everybody doing great, babies were outside again yesterday, still not sure they like it. They did like it cooler yesterday. I sure miss Elliot and Matt very quiet house.

My baby boys are both in their new homes. Matisse/Tagan arrived safely in MA and his family adores him (who wouldn’t) and Pez/Elliot is 7 miles away with Terry, George (Elliot’s nephew) Kirby (Yorkie) Dan (cat) Bessie (cat). Little babies went outside today, they’ll like it better tomorrow and more the next day!

THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!! It’s Citori and Beau’s babies from their last litter. Athena/Tala looks so much like big sister Izzie and Hermes/Phoenix looks like big sister Wildfire/Zinnia. They SHARE bones, one holds it while the other chews. SO CUTE!! Trisha’s twin boys will join us around Thanksgiving so there will be no puppies for awhile. I’m SURE she’ll be pretty busy with human babies so exciting!! The black beauties are our Bob/Gonzo a Patti Sue/Ruben baby born 5/9/08 HE’S A BIG BOY! and Washington/Fozzie a Checkers/Ruben baby born 9/7/06. Adorable grandkids too!!

Hi Barb – I have Thursday’s off and otherwise haven’t had time, nor has my son, to get started on facebook, plus he’s only gotten a few photos so
I wanted you to know what a beautiful, precious little puppy Preston is!!! what an absolute doll, so smart and so happy! And Cobi – he stopped sleeping all day, is alert & playing more than ever!! Greg even cut his ears short like your poodles and he looks SO cute and young! Preston is starting to feel at home and gaining confidence every day and, in fact he’s like a magician – Presto, objects just appear from nowhere!!! He went to the doctor yesterday and got an A+. Hope all’s well with you and all the members of your family!

New babies got their first food out of a bowl and did really well!

We are having so much fun here in Livonia! Last night we had a fun visit with Annie/Rigby, Cameron and Marjorie. What an adorable baby girl! Such a loved happy girl! She played with Reggie and kissed Parris. Was great to see them again!
After our visit we had a successful (well as far as we know) breeding and well be heading back home in a couple hours. Way too hot to leave the dogs in the car to shop. And Parris barks like crazy if I leave her in the room (trial did not go well) frankly I’m dying to see my babies!

My favorite thing about poodles is their talking eyes. Patti LOVES puppies, ALL puppies and she’s asking me to see them. I put mom Francis Claire out to potty and let Patti Sue meet her nieces and nephews. She was in SLURPING heaven, after every one was sparkling clean and asleep she paused to enjoy her accomplishment!
She is just so funny, the sweetest dog on earth!
Shortly Parris and I will be off to Detroit to meet with Reggie and Jamie. Our LAST litter of Parris babies and she’ll be retired. Cream, apricot and black cuties, I’m sad that there will be no more, they have such wonderful kids.
Francis Claire’s babies get cuter by the MINUTE!! Walking, using papers, sucking fingers, climbing in my lap ADORABLE!! I’ll move them to the family room Friday they’ll be ready for GOO TOO! SO SOON!

Got a nice pupdate on our adorable Charlotte, she is so loved and enjoyed her vacation with per people! Hi Barb!
Ella Bamba Fitzgerald Demet is getting so big, so fast! She weighed in at 20.4 at the last check up @ 13 weeks. She did a great job up north with hiking, swimming and meeting lots of new people and dogs. She was a real trooper on our walk in the Porkies. Everyone comments on her beauty (and I agree).
And my, she is teething! She takes the redirection to a toy well, though. She is getting a little better on the leash with resisting the urge to bite it!
She is SO verbal! She doesn’t whine when she eats anymore, but when she really gets chewing on a good toy, we hear her little whines. Whenever I discipline her she gets the last word with a little comment of her own! So sassy!
She got her first hair cut last week and the groomer said she did well but she tried some sly moves first! I will try to download those photos tonight.
these “dog days of August” have her hanging out on the tile floor in the bathroom. She has the same friendly personality no matter how hot it is –very laid back and even tempered.
Julie and i love looking at the Toy Story pups. Hope all is going well and I am glad you finally got the new floor!

GOT A WONDERFUL update on Preston! Barb – We couldn’t believe what a perfect angel Preston was on the way home!! He laid on my lap, ate a few cheerio’s (with me) and finally took a little drink of water. The entire trip he was SO calm!! We got home and gave Cobi some kisses, then brought Preston in and after they touched noses and sniffed each other, we know it was all good! Preston has already made himself at home, our son Steve is delighted and Cobi is fascinated!
Our king-size bed is filling up and Preston is at the head on all the pillows!! He IS a precious little prince and will soon be making a lot of the family decisions!! We really enjoyed meeting you and all the poodles!! You are awesome!!

My silly SWIMMER!! She could dive ALL DAY!! She LOVES the car, loves the pontoon, loves people. Very HAPPY GIRL!! I’m still waiting for her to go into season for her last litter of parti babies with Jack.
Matisse still isn’t very perky today (missing Preston), he’ll join his new family next Sunday and be showered with attention. He’s such a good boy he’ll make his new family so HAPPY!! I have certainly enjoyed his kisses and will savor every minute until we part.
New babies are SO BIG! Buzz was 2.90lbs at 2 weeks!! Andy 2.41, Woody 2.37 and Rex 1.8. Barbie was close behind Buzz at 2.86lbs!! Bo Peep 2.58, Jessie 2.16 and Bonnie 2.12. They are Ruben grand babies after all!! They WILL be big!

This was just so cute. Matisse stayed by Harlee all day. He was so content to lay by her and often resting his head on her leg. He is such a kid dog (as is his dad). Preston on the other hand was banished from the Tinkerbell room after repeated attempts to sneak kisses. The new babies have their eyes open. Chili is one of Reba and Reggie’s last children. I don’t usually place my babies with people who have never had a dog (I fear it won’t go well and the dog will be rehomed) but Doug convinced me they were ready to make their family complete with a poodle companion. After meeting them I knew Chili was in good hands and they would love him till the day he died. I have never regretted my decision for a minute, here’s an update from Doug
It’s been awhile since we’ve sent a pic. Chili is a great dog and perfect for us — very laid back and just goes with the flow. He’s wonderful around everyone and very friendly. We couldn’t be happier.

Life is back to normal (what ever that is with 11-14 poodles) furniture is back where it should be and floors look great. I’m a little worried about legs and hips the way everybody is sliding around, but they’ll get used to it and slow down (I hope).
Precious Preston goes home tomorrow. Matt and Elliot (AND ME) will miss those sweet little eyes. They are keeping his name (YEAH) and are really excited to get him early (plan was the 16th when Matisse leaves). They have an old boy with cancer and didn’t want to upset him with a pup, but he is doing really well and they though he’d like a little buddy. Preston is very laid back, he’ll know his limits and respect the old dog. When the time comes, Preston will have work to do mending the broken hearts.

Jamie (my friend/co-worker in Ohio that has our Reggie) is meeting me in Detroit (Novi actually) next week. We have them “a room” and hope to make cream, apricot and black babies for the last time. We’ll do some shopping too!! Just an overnight trip but will be fun. Tom will be dog sitting for me

I spotted little eyes today! Shines in the corners where they are coming “unstuck” MY FAVORITE!!

Elliot is really going to miss the lake. He is SO HAPPY bouncing around in the water, he LOVES jumping off the dock, loves swimming and loves his life. He’s a good boy! Not sure when I have to part with him, pretty soon I would think Beau is happy too, he loves the water!
Babies are so hot! Francis won’t leave any bedding down (the tile is cooler) no eyes open yet, but soon. Friday, I hope so Harlee can see them.
One more day off the floor and we can return to our regular ROUTINE!! Been a LONG 7 days!

Hi Barbara!

We wanted to send you an update on Stanford, who now goes by the name Oliver. HE IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PUPPY!! So affectionate, so sweet, learns everything so quickly, is friendly with everyone he meets. Our five-year-old standard poodle, Joey, has taken on the role of uncle, bringing Oliver toys and gently playing with him for hours. Beau, our very old standard, is happy to have Oliver lick his muzzle and ears. We just sent off several rolls of film for developing and will send you pictures of the three of them soon.

I can’t believe these babies are 9 days old already!! Eyes almost ready to open. They crawl over and get in my hands, Bonnie was full of snuggles for me today. Such cuties!!
Another successful day of keeping the dogs off the floor. I’ve plugged all the holes, Jazz had to stay put! Good thing she never runs away, I’d be chasing her all over the county! She really only stays where I put her because she feels like it. She does all this escaping without jumping out! She is SO SMART, figures out gates, sliders, door knobs!!! Thursday seems SO FAR AWAY!
Website is fixed, we needed more data transfer time and Netfirms had a server issue. Puppy cam is on

Stretching our legs! Elliot and his mom Jazz AKA Houdini/Sue-dini, three times she has managed to show up where I didn’t want her. But thankfully has not made it to the new floor. Little stinker! She is SO SMART!!
The new babies are doing great! Getting stronger and eyes are coming unstuck (they open 10-14 days) AND such cuddlers, they snuggle down in your hands. I love their puppy sounds. Four babies are spoken for but nobody picked (that’s why they all show available). FINALLY Parris is in heat, Reggie babies around October 15. Cream, apricot and black. Makes me sad it’s her last litter

Bella is such a water girl!!! Here are some photos of her playing with her new friend MoJo (portuguese water dog). They love to play together!!! We are swimming almost everyday!!! The new pups are sooo adorable!!!
