Bottle Buddy
On Sunday when I met Donnatella/Mimi’s family in South Haven, Jennifer brought us a BOTTLE BUDDY (treats which Parris and Patti Sue hogged and a water toy HOW VERY NICE OF HER!). She had read on the blog how they like the crinkle sound of the bottle and found this toy that has a water bottle inside. Ruben loves it and has not left it alone (nor has he shared it), he carries it all over crunching all the way. He is famous for his hillarious stiff legged coyote pounce that just cracks us up and enjoys landing on his buddy over and over (the more you laugh the more he’ll do it) something about a 92lb dog pouncing is so funny. I could use a laugh this week, in just a couple days I’ll be puppyless (happy to see Nicoles baby bump) I’ve mentioned that I ask myself often why I insist on torturing myself by falling in love with babies I’d like to keep but can’t, well here’s my answer:

Reading your blog tonight – I just had to write. It is us that are so glad to have found you! Trixie is the love of our lives and she brings out the best in all of us. Colton and Trixie are taking an agility obstacle class and loving it. Michael is teaching Trixie to catch a frisbee. And, Trixie doesn’t let Erin and I out of her sight. We visit the dog park daily where Trixie can run off leash and play with dogs of all shapes and sizes. At the dog park, Trixie is fast and she is a beauty to watch. And, Trixie brings so much joy to my parents. Trixie walks gently with my parents as they maneuver their walkers. Trixie has a keen sense of compassion for older adults and older dogs. Yesterday at the dog park, Trixie stopped to nestle next to an elderly dog under the tree. It was a moment to remember as she understood her friend in need. As you can see, it is a joy to spend my days with Trixie. Thank you for bringing so much sunshine and love to so many families.
I check the blog daily to see the pups and can’t believe they are already going to their homes. I will miss them.
